What is a Wing Ding?
The Wing Ding is both a chicken wing contest and an interactive tasting event. Local restaurants donate and showcase their finest chicken wings and compete for trophies along with bragging rights for the best chick wings in each category. A panel of local celebrity judges picks their favorite wings in a blind taste test. Event attendees bestow the greatest honor on one lucky restaurant: The People’s Choice Award. The categories include:
Best Traditional Hot Wings (sauced)
Best Specialty Wings (sauced)
Best Dry Rubbed Wings (unsauced)
